A family oriented business, the company was started by two brothers, Ted and Ed Huizenga in 1968. Their company was founded upon the principles of commitment, flexibility, honesty and integrity. It was important to them to stand behind all they say and do. To this day, these principles remain the foundation that continue to hold the company true to our reputation as great builders. |

From early on, they built high quality steel buildings winning many design awards. When the company incorporated in 1974 and Ed Huizenga decided to pursue other ventures, Ted Huizenga continued running the company with the help of his wife, Hilda. As the company continued to grow, Ted included his young sons, Mike, Don and Tom Huizenga.
Sheer growth is not critical to company management. Most important to the Huizenga Brothers Firm are our relationships forged and maintained with clients, employees and subcontractors throughout the years.
